Key update

Still no keys...I was sure with all of Mason's prayers (he prayed in every shady spot between here and the church building yesterday) and faith we would have found them by no. But unfortunately, no. On a lighter note, Stephen just parked our loaner car (thanks, Paul!) behind the van, so I didn't have to sleep on the couch. :o)

Another addition to the...family

Meet Brooke, our newest pet. She/he is a stag beetle, and a very fascinating little thing! Our beetle is actually all black with smaller mandibles, but still very impressive. Elise loves it. It is living in a green bucket in our kitchen at the moment. Yes, in our kitchen. What is happening to me?

Less than a week...

...until we head to Malaysia! Watch out world, here we come!

That is, if I can find our car/house keys. I put them in the stroller this morning for our walk to church, but they either fell out or were taken at church. I really hope they just fell out. It is kind of creepy to think that someone might come and try to steal our car and I can do nothing about it. I've been considering sleeping on the couch tonight with my gun...seriously, I might do it. On a more optimistic note, I plastered the 4 blocks from our house to church with "LOST KEYS" posters, so I'm hoping we'll get a call soon. They are our only keys, which is probably kind of dumb, but there you go!

Mason has been awful about bedtime lately, but I think we have figured out something that works. It has worked for the last few nights, anyhow! Thank goodness - I was going nuts with him being awake (and in and out of bed) until 10:45pm!!!
