Today with a new baby

Little Lincoln has a very red face, red hair and dark blue eyes (it will be fun to discover their real color soon!).

This morning Mason asked if all baby's eyes are blue when they are born. I told him that most white babies are born with blue eyes. He paused a moment and then asked, "What about red babies?"

Here are all 4 kids this morning:

And here are Lincoln and I. We opted out of church and slept all morning. :o)

All these updates are brought to you compliments of my mom and dad, who are taking care of everything while I rest. :o)

I loved reading your birthing story. If...if I have another baby I am going to come to you to teach me the pressure points and a few other things. You should be very proud of yourself, I am. And he is so beautiful too. Congrats!

I love the comments your kids make. BTW, some black babies have blue eyes at birth, too.Again, thank you for allowing me to be recognized as a Hawes Scholar.almer's were gray for six months before they went brown. You look great. It makes me slightly jealous to see you with Lincoln. I can't wait for our little one!
