When it snows for the first time next year, be sure to throw that snow as far as, or perhaps farther than, humanly possible. Come February, it is NO FUN to throw snow over 8' high drifts.
Oh wow! You guys have huge drifts up there! We've got a snow drift in our backyard but it is only 1-2 feet tall (and I thought that was big!). Stay warm!!! And pray for no power outages! :)

Isn't the midwest wonderful?! It makes driving, and living, in general, very interesting during the winter.
WOW! That is an amazing amount of snow - you are going to have great muscles at the end of snow season!
do most people shovel by hand, or have blowers? Maybe next year for Christmas Santa will bring you a powered snow blower!
When the snow starts to melt check Craigslist for a snow blower. Your driveway is enormous.
