Family visits, part 1

Over Memorial Day weekend my dad came to visit on an extended layover from New Jersey to Oregon. We packed the fun into that weekend! The highlights were having Dad help Stephen put up our swing set (something I acquired for free off of craigslist--and Stephen disassembled in 5 hours and put up again in 10 or so...), working in the garden, and getting a family pass to the zoo! Oh yeah, and burning the burn pile. That was a HUGE hit!
