Sammy's State Gymnastics Meet 3/17/18

Sammy loves, loves, loves gymnastics! He practices 5 days a week for 2 hours a day, and comes home and falls asleep on the couch many nights. He's on a great team of boys and has made some good friends this year. He competed at level 6B, age 12+.

Floor: 7.6

Rings: 8.0

Parallel Bars: 8.3--he accidentally added in a more advanced skill so got docked points. Oops!

Vault: 8.5

High Bar: 7.3

Mushroom: 7.7

Grand total: 47.4!

There are only 2 boys' teams in the entire state of Wyoming, Laramie & Cheyenne. Sadly, Sammy is the only one in his level and age group...as has often been the case. It was fun going to a couple of meets where there were other boys in his level/age group--and he still medaled!
