See its funny because you interupt the person by mooing...because your the interupting cow...It loses something when it is written down. You have to practice a bit because it really is hard to interupt someone in the middle of a knock knock joke. I think we all subconsciencely know how a knock knock joke is suposed to go and it is just hard to break that up.
