A half-eaten apple in my bedroom.
Bread pans in the bathroom.
Spoons in the living room.
Placemats in the family room.
Socks and underwear all over the floor.
Balls in the den.
A library book in the recycling bin.
A broom in the hall.
And all in 15 minutes.

oh that phase of babyhood is so - so busy! and oh so fun...when contained! :) my sister's little girl is 13 months and she just had a baby 4 weeks ago...in about 8-10 months I think she will be pulling her hair out! And of course loving every moment of it as we try to do with each mommy minute....maybe?!
does Stephen go through the summer, or do you get a break? how does PHD school work compared with what we had for MBA? from: clueless
I can relate!! Natalie is a tornado :) Glad I'm not the only one with stuff all over the place, all the time :)

Stephen doesn't have classes during the summer, but will have RA responsibilities as well as his own research to do. He has a couple of conferences to attend, and we're going to Oregon for a couple of weeks. Next year will be different, as he'll be preparing for his comp exams.
His weekly schedule is similar to the MBA program, maybe a little more relaxed. He was always good about being gone from 8am - 6pm (now it's 7am - 6pm with a commute) so that we always had family time (he hits the books again after the kids are in bed). It's a similar schedule now, except Wednesdays when he's gone until 9pm.
Right now he is busy grading tests, but fortunately, he doesn't have a heavy TA load like some of the other students. A lot of his work is self-driven; he has so many ideas for papers of his own, and he's working with several other professors on their papers.
