Lincoln

For over a month I've been wanting to write an entry about each of my kids. With Sammy and Mason's recent birthdays, Elise's ballet and Lincoln being way too cute, I just need to write!

Lincoln Xavier. 17 months old, 21 1/2 lbs, and a red curly-haired, blue-eyed wrestling ball of fun! Our tiny man loveslovesloves to be outside--playing with balls, chasing the big kids, riding his tricycle, swinging on the swing...if the door is open, he is outside.

He has cherubic red curls, chubby cheeks and the adorable baby belly that leads him in all his adventures. He loves to help--unloading the dishwasher (dirty or clean, makes no difference to him!), sorting (or un-sorting) laundry, cleaning up his toys, and helping his older siblings learn patience and have joy.

He isn't crazy about many foods, but loves beans, macaroni, bananas, bread, quesadillas and water. We stopped nursing a month or so ago, and is just now beginning to like to drink cow's milk.

He signs his favorite things: bath, more, eat, water, bird, cat, help, hot, blanky and goodbye. He says, "HI!!!!", "uh-oh", "Da-da" and "ow". The "HI!!!!" is the best, because he comes running across the room with a huge grin and his arms open wide. Makes you feel like a million bucks.

His bedtime routine includes being thrown around on the couch and wrestling with Daddy. After that he goes right to sleep after a bedtime song. It's kind of funny.

He brings so much happiness into our home, by simply being his sweet, mischievous self.
