Baby name ideas

In case you  missed it, I'm expecting baby #5 in late October. We're having an ultrasound on May 25th, and the kids have been thinking about baby names. Mason claims that we are going to vote on a name...I told him that's not going to happen! Here are the names in consideration:

GIRL

Mason, in all seriousness: Crystal or Diamond or Ruby or Jewell, but probably not 'Pumpkin Pie'.
Elise's top contenders: Cristell, Lucy, Katiy, Emaelley, Elaine, Josey, Kaliae (pronounced 'Kaelah'), Diamond, Christy. (From a list she wrote this morning.)
Sammy: Julia
Stephen: Cosette, Britta (both of those names are carry-overs since Elise was named)
Me: Not telling!

BOY

Elise (again, from her list): Mason, Samull, Lincoln, Danull, Charels (I think she should get major props for her phonetic spelling)
Mason: Mason, Sammy, Lincoln, Owen, Charles
Sammy: Daniel, John
Stephen: David
Me: Not telling!

The general consensus was that it can't be a food name, because then the kids would get hungry at church. So 'Chocolate Chip' (a Sammy contribution) is right out.

I forgot for a bit you were expecting. How exciting! I love that your kiddos picked the names that are already used on their siblings...it shows they aren't tired of them :)

And I definitely love the trend of naming a girl after some gems - hopefully that means that the gems then magically appear falling from her lips like in the fairy tale right?!!

Oh, I love both of Stephen's girl names! I hope it's a girl! :)

Looks like Daniel got lots of votes - that's a really good name :)

Girl--Lucy, Grace, Hope, Elizabeth (which would have been our next girl name if I could have talked Dad into it and if we had had another girl--two big obstacles!)

Boy: Naw, this will be a girl!
