Big news!

Okay, to put pregnancy rumors at rest, yes, I am pregnant! I'm 9 weeks along, and so long as I keep food in my body I feel okay. And naps are wonderful things. :o) I'm due December 11th.

More excitement...we are going to Malaysia this summer! We're taking Elise and going to visit Stephen's parents who are on a mission in East Malaysia. We are super excited.

Other news - we moved last week! Yet another reason for my seemingly constant exhaustion. We moved 1 1/2 miles down the road from our old duplex, and jumped out of our stake. Only in Utah. Anyhoo, we are super sad to lose our stake callings (and ward callings, for that matter), but excited to get to know our new ward. They haven't found replacements for us in primary and financing yet, so we'll keep going to our old ward through May.

Our new place is so nice! It's a 3 bed, 1 bath duplex, with it's OWN FENCED YARD!!!!! I don't have to share!!!!! It is wonderful. :o) We have a huge master bedroom, a huge family room, an itty-bitty kitchen, 2 good-sized bedrooms, a living room, and an unfinished basement. Can we say "storage" everyone? I'm going to make a study nook for Stephen down there. Then he can study in comfort. That's the idea, anyhow. I don't know how well I could study in a hole. ;o)

The boys share a room (Mason is loving the top bunk), and Elise will share with the baby when she comes. We're getting a queen sized bed for Elise (or any guests that might decide to drop by to visit...hint, hint), and she is loving having her own room. She picks it up every day and has it all organized just how she likes it. Daddy helped her with that.

Stephen started his internship at Frito-Lay on Monday. He was given a large allotment of money to go buy new work clothes (from the company, not me). I want that gig! Everything does have to say "Frito-Lay", but I could deal with that. :o) He and another MBA student carpool up to West Valley every day. That isn't so fun, since we have gotten used to a 10-minute commute max for the last 6 years. Oh well, it's money and experience. He's going to keep working on his papers to be published pretty soon, which is exciting and time consuming.

I haven't gone running, biking or swimming since my race. Pretty pathetic, but life has been busy, and I can always pull the pregnancy excuse - which is actually a real one. :o) Once we get our new home in order I think I might make it outside to enjoy our beautiful weather, but right now I am feeling anti-social and rather hermit-ish. I'll get over it, don't worry! :o) :o)

Congrats on the pregnancy, the move, and the internship! Knowing your previous place unnervingly well, I can say I share your relief at moving somewhere bigger with a private yard. ha ha! And hooray for free clothes, right? ;)

I don't know how you do it, but the Lord provides a way, doesn't He?

I completely used the pregnant card to get out of running. :) I've started feeling better lately and wishing you hadn't moved so I could have a running buddy.

You should be able to follow my profile to get to my blog.

Really, I'm just crazy. But not running anymore...Stephen leaves too early for that (otherwise I'm sure I'd be getting up at 5:45am still...maybe not)
