There have been little sugar ants in the boys room ever since we moved in. Not a lot of them, but still, ANTS IN THEIR ROOM! Yuck. Tonight I had just had it with them, and ran for the vacuum. Sammy promptly burst into tears (he missed his nap today) and cried that he didn't want them to die!!!
Mason: But, Sammy, we will see them in heaven. After they die they go to heaven, and when we die we'll see ants pulling bread crumbs in heaven.
Sammy: But Mommy is going to vacuum them!
Mason (wiping away a tear from his own eye): But we'll see them in heaven. It's okay, Sammy, we'll see the ants in heaven. We can watch them pull bread crumbs there, too.
After the deed was done Mason and Sammy said their goodbyes to the ants (in the vacuum) and told them they would see them in heaven.
