How do you face paint a doughnut machine?

We were at a neighbors house enjoying a little memorial day get together. They had a face painting table and the host was painting lots of different things on the kids' faces. Mason already had a robot on one cheek and he went back for another picture. After a bit of discussion with Mason, the face painter called out to Claire and I, "Mason wants me to paint a doughnut machine on his face--I have no idea how to do that. I asked him if I could paint a microscope. He asked me if it used electricity. I said, 'No it used light and mirrors.' Mason resolutely said, 'No.'"

Mason asked us for a pen and paper so he could draw a doughnut machine for the face painter and help the face painter out of his predicament.

Okay, you need to write a book. Or put these all in Reader's Digest or something. Where does he come up with these?
