The kids overheard a movie review while I was listening to NPR News today. It was for a scary movie. They discussed it at dinner, and at the end of dinner Sammy said, "I don't want to go down to my room by myself because I'm scared someone will come in and get me." Mason replied, "Sammy, no one will get you." I followed up, "Sammy, it is more likely you will get eaten by a shark than someone will come into your room in the next few minutes and get you." Sammy looked at me seriously and agreed, "You're right, because sharks do not worry about your privacy."
