Our Oregon trip: Days 1-3

Oh, what a wonderful time we had in Oregon! We took the trip there sloooooooowly. First night we stopped in Boise and had a late night with cousins (I was hoping the kids would sleep in the car the next day to make up for it, but, alas, no).

Then, 2 days of fun in Hermiston!

Tractor rides with Grandpa Jones--everyone got to drive!

Digging holes and playing in water--Mason was out there for over 2 hours working on his creation! Grandpa tried to keep him out of the water, but had as much success as I usually do, i.e., none. But Mason did put the wire back in place when he was finished. The wire that Grandpa put on the water spout to keep Mason out of it. :o) Mason dug up those pipes and routed the water over to his "river", "tunnel" and "lake".

Sammy and Elise fed the sheep while Mason was digging. This friendly ram got to eat all sorts of house scraps and weeds...

And three cheers to coming inside to baths and a delicious cake!
