Hail to a Great Mother
I've been watching the three older kids for the last five days. (Claire is in Corvallis to be with her family at the passing of her Grandmother.) I'm happy to say it has been a joy being with Elise, Mason, and Sammy. The kids get up in the morning, make their beds, get dressed, and make their own breakfast. They clean up when asked and go about their day playing, reading, and building. I am working from home, and they respect my time. They don't nag about wanting to play computer games or watch TV. I am amazed at how well behaved and responsible they are. One night, I forgot to run the dishwasher. The next morning Elise had already started it. Thank you, Claire, for teaching our children so well.

Wow! I wanna be like you Claire and train my children well! That's so awesome Elise took charge and got the dishwasher started all on her own.
I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your Grandma. I hope you are able to enjoy some good quality family time at home in Oregon Claire. Hug a tree for me :)
