Oregon trip: Days Three & Four--relaxing

The next couple of days I spent with my brothers and their families. It was wonderful to be with them and just talk and talk and laugh and laugh! Lincoln continued to be super clingy--I think it was Sunday before he smiled at anyone besides me. Very strange. He didn't like to be more than a few steps away from me at any time. If I was out of sight, that was BAD. It was very draining on me, as much as I love my little guy!

Saturday night all of us Cochran (or, in my case, the girl formerly known as a Cochran) girls went out for dinner, sans kiddos. That was the first time we've ever done that, and I think it ought to become tradition! From L-R: Kaelah (Trevor), Jen (Brett), Mom, Marni (Scotty), me, Missy (Jeff). We left the kids home with the men-folk. I put Brett in charge of Lincoln. :o) With his two babies, as well. :o)

Sunday Lincoln and I took off after Sacrament Meeting and went home with Brett, Jen, Liza and Lettie Claire (who were both also off schedule). Lincoln and I picked some flowers from the farm and went to visit Grandma's grave. It's in a very peaceful setting, and we were the only ones there, and it was calm and quiet.

I took a flower for each of the kids from the fancy arrangement--I knew Grandma wouldn't mind, and I knew it would mean a lot to my kids, who were so disappointed that they couldn't be there.

Like my random assortment of flowers in a canning jar? Me too.

I had to include this one because it was one of the only times Lincoln smiled ALL weekend. He is pretty dang cute!!

This is Lincoln's expression closest to a smile that we got the rest of the time--but isn't Missy gorgeous?!?!
